Cranberry and orange flavors go together really well. They brighten any treats by adding a citrusy-tart flavor-combo that make anything taste refreshing.

These energy balls are easy to make and great for on the go. I love to bring them on hikes or runs or just gobble down a couple before a workout or just as a quick on-the-go breakfast. You can store these in your freezer and keep them for a long time in there. I have had mine in there going on 2 weeks and they taste good as new still.

For this recipe, you will just need the ingredients below and a food processor. You might be able to do this recipe in a Vitamix or another high-speed blender, but I’ve always found it to be much harder to ensure the ingredients evenly incorporate together in a blender.

Cranberry Orange Energy Balls

Recipe by Jordan Gold

Ingredients

  • 1 cup medjool dates, pitted

  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

  • 2 tsp orange zest

  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

Directions

  • Add all of your ingredients to a food processor, except for the cranberries. Process for about 4-5 minutes, or until the mixture has started to stick together when you squeeze a bit together.
  • Add your cranberries and pulse for another minute until they have incorporated with the mixture.
  • Form your mixture into balls. I was able to form about 13 balls.
  • Store in your freezer and enjoy!
