Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 15.5oz. cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1/2 cup roasted red pepper

  • 5 tbsp cup tahini

  • Juice from 1 lemon

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 5 tbsp ice cold water, gradually added

Directions

  • Add all of your ingredients to a food processor or blender, except the ice water. Blend until totally smooth.
  • Continue blending and slowly add your 5 tbsp of ice cold water until your desired consistency is reached.
  • Taste and adjust as needed, add more salt, lemon, etc.
  • Serve with paprika, more roasted red pepper, pita, veggies, and enjoy!
